Cowboy Butter Chicken Pasta

Cowboy Butter Chicken Pasta is a creamy and savory dish that combines tender chicken and pasta in a rich, buttery sauce. Perfect for busy weeknights or impressing guests!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 34 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 8 oz fettuccine or any pasta shape of choice
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Chop chicken into bite-sized pieces.
  2. Bring a large pot of salted water to boil. Add pasta and cook until al dente according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a large skillet over medium heat, melt half of the butter. Add chopped chicken, season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Sauté until golden brown and cooked through (about 6 minutes).
  4. In the same skillet, add remaining butter and minced garlic. Cook until fragrant (about 1 minute). Pour in heavy cream and stir while scraping up any bits from the skillet. Add red pepper flakes.
  5. Once the sauce thickens slightly (about 2 minutes), add cooked pasta to the skillet. Toss until pasta is evenly coated with sauce.
  6. Plate the pasta and top with freshly chopped parsley or grated Parmesan if desired.
