Ingredients

Scale
  • 34 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tsp dried Italian herbs (basil, oregano, thyme)
  • 1/2 tsp chili powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Spray a baking dish with nonstick cooking spray. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, melt two tablespoons of butter. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about one minute.
  3. Pour in heavy cream and soy sauce into the skillet with garlic. Stir well and add dried Italian herbs and chili powder. Simmer gently for five minutes until slightly thickened.
  4. Place seasoned chicken breasts in the prepared baking dish. Pour the creamy sauce over the chicken, ensuring it is well covered.
  5. Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 25-30 minutes until the chicken is cooked through (internal temperature should reach at least 165°F or 75°C).
  6. Remove from oven and stir in any remaining butter until melted and combined for extra creaminess. Serve drizzled with sauce.
