- 1 pound white fish fillets (cod or tilapia)
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 6 corn or flour tortillas
- 2 cups green cabbage, shredded
- 1 cup carrots, shredded
- Juice of 1 lime
- Salt to taste
- 1/2 cup sour cream or Greek yogurt
- 1 teaspoon chipotle powder
- Juice of 1 lime
- Pat fish fillets dry with a paper towel and season both sides with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook fish for about 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown and flaky.
- In a bowl, mix shredded cabbage and carrots. Drizzle with lime juice and sprinkle with salt; toss to combine.
- In a small bowl, mix sour cream (or Greek yogurt) with chipotle powder and lime juice until smooth. Adjust seasoning as needed.
- Warm tortillas in a dry skillet or microwave until pliable.
- Place some flaky fish on each tortilla, top with slaw, drizzle sauce over it, and sprinkle chopped cilantro if desired.
