- 4–6 bone-in chicken thighs
- 5 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/3 cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- Preheat Your Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and prepare a baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
- Prepare the Marinade: In a medium bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, apple cider vinegar, sesame oil, and minced garlic until well combined.
- Marinate the Chicken: Place chicken thighs in a large zip-top bag or shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Seal or cover tightly and let marinate for at least 30 minutes (or overnight for best results).
- Bake: Arrange marinated chicken thighs skin-side up in the prepared baking dish. Drizzle any remaining marinade on top. Bake in preheated oven for about 35-40 minutes or until internal temperature reaches at least 165°F (75°C).
- Broil for Crispiness: Switch your oven to broil and cook for an additional 3-5 minutes until the tops are golden brown and crispy.
- Serve & Enjoy: Transfer chicken to plates and drizzle with sauce from the baking dish. Serve hot with rice or vegetables.
