  • 4 fresh salmon fillets (6 oz each)
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 2 tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and lightly spray a baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels and season both sides with salt and pepper. Place skin-side down in the prepared baking dish.
  3. In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the unsalted butter. Add minced garlic and sauté for about one minute until fragrant, then stir in freshly squeezed lemon juice.
  4. Pour the lemon-garlic butter sauce evenly over the seasoned salmon fillets.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
  6. Once cooked, sprinkle with chopped parsley before serving, drizzling any remaining sauce over the top.
