Sticky Soy Garlic Chicken

Sticky Soy Garlic Chicken is a flavorful dish featuring tender chicken thighs coated in a sweet and savory glaze that will impress at any meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken thighs
  • 6 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 2 tbsp rice vinegar

Instructions

  1. Trim excess fat from the chicken thighs and pat dry with paper towels. Set aside.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, brown sugar, honey, sesame oil, and rice vinegar until well combined.
  3. Place the chicken thighs in a resealable bag or bowl, pour half of the marinade over them, and let it marinate for at least 30 minutes (up to an hour for best flavor).
  4. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Remove chicken from marinade (reserve marinade) and cook for about five minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature of at least 165°F).
  5. Pour the reserved marinade into the skillet with cooked chicken and simmer for about five minutes until it thickens into a sticky glaze.
  6. Transfer Sticky Soy Garlic Chicken to serving plates and drizzle with additional sauce from the pan. Serve with steamed rice or vegetables.
