- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken thighs
- 6 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 2 tbsp rice vinegar
- Trim excess fat from the chicken thighs and pat dry with paper towels. Set aside.
- In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, brown sugar, honey, sesame oil, and rice vinegar until well combined.
- Place the chicken thighs in a resealable bag or bowl, pour half of the marinade over them, and let it marinate for at least 30 minutes (up to an hour for best flavor).
- Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Remove chicken from marinade (reserve marinade) and cook for about five minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature of at least 165°F).
- Pour the reserved marinade into the skillet with cooked chicken and simmer for about five minutes until it thickens into a sticky glaze.
- Transfer Sticky Soy Garlic Chicken to serving plates and drizzle with additional sauce from the pan. Serve with steamed rice or vegetables.
