- 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- 1-inch piece ginger, grated
- 1 can (15 oz) tomato puree
- 1 can (13.5 oz) full-fat coconut milk
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 tsp garam masala

- Sprinkle garam masala over the mixture along with additional salt and pepper to taste. Allow it to simmer gently for another 5 minutes.
