Instructions

How to Make Chicken Alfredo Pasta

  • Season the chicken breast with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and cook the chicken for about 6-7 minutes per side until golden brown and fully cooked. Let it rest before slicing.
  • In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil and cook the fettuccine according to package instructions until al dente, usually around 8-10 minutes. Reserve a cup of pasta water before draining.
  • In the same skillet used for the chicken, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about a minute until fragrant. Slowly pour in heavy cream, stirring continuously, and let it simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  • Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese, mixing until it completely melts and forms a creamy sauce. If it’s too thick, add a little reserved pasta water to reach your desired consistency.
  • Toss the cooked fettuccine into the skillet with the Alfredo sauce, mixing well to coat the pasta. Add sliced chicken on top and stir gently to combine all flavors.
  • Serve hot, garnished with chopped fresh parsley for a pop of color and freshness.
