  • 1 cup Italian-seasoned breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup Freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 pieces Eggs

  • 2 cups Marinara sauce
  • 2 cloves Freshly minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

  • 1 cup Shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions

How to Make Baked Chicken Parmesan

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Pound the chicken breasts to an even thickness.
  • Whisk the eggs in one bowl. In another bowl, mix breadcrumbs and grated Parmesan.
  • Dip each chicken breast in egg, then press into breadcrumb mixture.
  • Place breaded chicken breasts on a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes until cooked through.
  • Add marinara sauce and sprinkle mozzarella on top, then bake for an additional 5-7 minutes.
  • Garnish with fresh basil and serve with pasta or salad.

Notes

You can assemble the chicken without baking and refrigerate for up to 24 hours before baking.
